This ICH-GCP refresher training is suitable for ALL Clinical Research Professionals who need to update their current certification.
Your GCP Training Journey with CRunch
- Following registration, you will be receive a link to the CRunch training platform. (Note, this is not an instant download – after completing the payment process, IAOCR will register you for the program and send you a link, normally within 24 hours. If you enrol on a Friday after 3pm GMT, you will receive your link on the following Monday).
- CRunch will guide you through the training program by providing access to each of the daily learning and assessment modules that you can complete on your mobile device (or laptop/desktop if preferred). Each daily module is approximately 10-15 minutes, and this program runs for 8 days.
- At the end of the training program and successful completion of all assessments, you will be awarded a ‘Certification of Completion’

Registration Dates
Training cohorts run monthly. You can register and start your training anytime between the 01 and the 18 of any month, and you will have to the end of the month to complete it. (You can expect to receive your link to start the training via email within one working day of your order confirmation). You must complete your training by the last calendar day of the same month in which you registered and started your training - there are 8 days of learning in this course). Please note after this date your training window will expire.

How do I access CRunch?
When you click on the link that will be emailed to you, you will be asked to enter your email address. You will then be emailed a magic link to click on which will take you straight into your CRunch account.
Is CRunch an App?
CRunch is a web app, not a native app, and it is not available to download via app stores – instead, once you have enrolled you will be emailed a link to access the app. To have easy access on a daily basis, it is recommended that you save CRunch as a shortcut on your device home screen. (Because it is a web app, you do have the options to complete training on your laptop/desktop; most of our learners use their mobile phones).
How do the CRunch bite-size learning modules work?
When you log in, you will see your daily learning plan. This will show all the learning activities you need to complete for that day. You will earn points for any learning completed and also unlock a bonus if you complete all required learning activities that day.
What are CRunch workouts?
Workouts are short self-assessed quizzes that help to make the leaning stick and personalise your learning journey. You will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge on the topic, and then asked to confirm how well you knew the answer after it is revealed. How you answer will impact the questions you receive in future workouts, helping you target knowledge gaps. You don’t gain any extra points for saying you knew the answer, so it’s better to be honest with your self-assessed answers as this will ensure your future workouts target your knowledge gaps.
How long does it take to complete the course?
The ICH-GCP training on CRunch takes 8 days (approximately 10-15 minutes per day). However, if you don’t log in every day, the course will take longer to complete. Also, if you fail the quizzes, you may be set additional days of workout questions to help you brush up your knowledge before moving on to new sections of the course.
Can I do extra learning on a day if I want to?
No, CRunch’s learning approach is effective due to its bite-sized nature. Once you complete a day’s activities, you won’t receive any more to do until the next day.
What happens if I miss a day?
If you miss a day, you won’t get two days of learning content, it will remain as one day’s activities.
Can I revisit the learning content?
Yes, if you click on the course within your personal CRunch passport, you can access all of the content previously completed. You can also see the activities not yet reached – this is greyed out and not accessible unitl that module is released to you.

Can I decide when to get my daily reminder? Yes, click on the menu on the right-hand side of your screen and select Settings > User Settings
What's the difference between the CRunch ICH-GCP Training and the ICH-GCP Training PLUS Accreditation?
You have the choice to enrol for the CRunch ICH-GCP Training only OR for the combined package which includes the CRunch training, followed by the IAOCR accreditation assessment for ICH-GCP. If you choose to do the combined package, you will be enrolled for the accreditation assessment which is completed on the IAOCR online assessment portal. The accreditation assessment takes approximately 1 hour and is a mix of complex multiple choice questions designed to verify your competency in ICH-GCP. In addition to your training certificate, if you pass the accreditation you will also receive a Certificate of Accreditation, and electronic professional accreditation mark and 20 CPE (Continuing Profesional Education) points.
